I can show you a couple I have done previously. I thought I put the Revell BMW 320 Turbo up a while ago but can't find it.

 

It is not too hard though and maybe easier with an SCX as it already had a pod. Depends on how much meat there is in the chassis.

 

Joshua he is talking about installing a motor pod from Slot.it, (another slot car manufacturer) into an SCX car.

Edit. I have glued a slot.it sidewinder pod into a scalex rally car, it used to be front motored. BUT, I never got around to putting it back together so i dont know how well it runs. Its still in one of my famous chinese containers.
