Ember
Well.... That's not real flash. Oh well. Congratulations Leo and helpers for another massive round of playing with cars. You're all probably dead on your feet after running that lot. Congratulations also to those in the rarefied air of the podium. Only consolation for me is that I managed to finish ahead of Mark. gazza
Great job Leo, time to have a bex and a good lie down It has certainly mixed the field up, Mario's not looking that comfortable out in front. This was also the first time with the control tyres on plastic, any information on there performance would be nice Splitrim, don't forget all your points come to me fixing that thing is going to bite me in the ass Quote Quickly read this post before it is deleted or i turn grey again Gary http://www.facebook.com/Rallyproxy2017

Jaak
Wow that's Fabulastic or should I say fantastically fabulous. A top 5 position on stage 2 even better it is 4th place, makes me wish the stage was longer. Then again there is always something to whine about isn't there.. Yesterday too much rain and today there is too much sun.. Thanks Leo and Crew this makes my day. Snurf, Please PM the account details and what amounts are required for what position .. ah nvmnd just let me know in PM what the price for first place is. haystack
Thanks Leo, what can I say... that Subi has got a bit of pace now the guide is fixed. First podium ever in WRP. As I stand now, in 10th, with one foot firmly planted on Gazza's shoulder, and the other on Craig's noggin, the view is grand, and I'm liking it. Whither away now, Snurfen's you say? Scuderia_Turini
Hello Gazza, yeah that's headline news around the world - a big shame. Meanwhile here is a photo of a Ford in action. This was in the warm up just before the timed run. Its the best of the action shots !! More to follow soon. Scuderia_Turini
The action shots may not look it but they were taken in action. The shots that are dark and moody are when the flash didn't trigger properly (although it was a bright sunny day!!) Sorry, not got pics of all the cars. A big thank you to the event sponsors and organisers - och aye !! Scuderia_Turini
On the tyre front - they are very impressive on the Carrera track - the hard smooth surface challenges most tyres and I was more than pleased when I first tried the MJKs on it. Some cars had the tyres scrubbed well down with the effect of having squared-off edges. That didn't cause any pain on Carrera but I think it definitely caused a bit of "tripping up" on the dimpled Ninco surface. My own car has the tyres as "off the shelf" and with the more rounded edge to the outside. That worked well when I was building the car and seemed to work well when Crawford was driving it. So unlike the current F1 contenders, we can't blame the tyres... On a general note - managing the cars would be much easier if they all had the numbers on the roof, please make that mandatory next year. Also, I have always disabled the lights,on the basis that it might drain that critical fraction of power. Crawford commented that a black car on the black track would have been easier to spot if it had had lights. Adrian commented that consistent smooth handling was being better than ultimate speed - he must lurk on this forum... Kind regards, Leo Quote Like Scuderia Turini on Facebook Please Vote Up my postings - green arrow at top right :- )

Ember
Thanks for the photos Leo. You lads wouldn't be close to a distillery by any chance? I figure the co-pilot might've detoured the car for a dram or two of the local "water". Only thing I can think of to explain the performance. And if you look really well at that close-up photo, I'm sure he's smiling. Quote Computers. They'll never catch on. Peter Gunn
Got it all wrong Ember if the guys in Scotland had drunk a dram or two of the real Mccoy before driving your car it would have possibly come first second and third
Scuderia_Turini
Yo Embs, Indeed, Glenkinchie distillery is within 5 miles and your crew look a bit "steamed". teamredracing
Onya Leo and the guys for a great round I think . Its a long day when doing this Proxy ,so the quiet Scottish amber after the event is truly acceptable . I think I'll have to get with Gaz and Mel to discuss the running of the shakedown to score points ( as this is the only way my car would have had more points from 2 rounds now ) . Hey Chris , hope your not around my noggin for to long as its hard enough to keep the hair I have left . As far as numbers on the roof of cars , I tried to get the decals on all the car roofs, but some cars as you'll notice had there own type of decals and there wasn't any room for that size decal. I didn't really want down size them as they then didn't look the part. Again thanks for the round ,hope you and the boys enjoyed yourselves . Onward and Upward ( I hope ). More shakedowns I say. Cheers Craig Quote Craig "You can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time”.
Scuderia_Turini
Yo Craig, I sent the box on to Wales this morning, hopefully I can stop counting up to 51 now ... The shakedown is really just for the organiser to have fun - isn't it ?? So yes - more shakedowns !! All good fun, a bit of stress but I think the team here enjoyed themselves. Adrian and Crawford are quite competitive generally and although they were running on different days and on different tracks they still wanted to know how each had performed. I showed no favouritism ... Leo Quote Like Scuderia Turini on Facebook Please Vote Up my postings - green arrow at top right :- )
