Rick, what browser are you using?

Internet Explorer but I tried Firefox just last week with same result.

Firefox lets you download it with a few different formats, once the add on is installed

Thanks Gazza. 50% success. I can view videos on Youtube but still cant see embedded clips on forums.

Quickly read this post before it is deleted or i turn grey again

I've given up on Firefox because it won't recognise Flash installed. Can't use Explorer 10 because it means I have no enter key on the Forum. Chrome works, mostly. Every now and then it needs a nudge to display right.

I admit, I hate having to install extra browsers on top of everything else. But at the moment I have yet to find a foolproof unbreakable browser. Complexity just makes things worse, not better.

/end rant

Embers issue with IE10 is a confirmed bug with invision forums though, we already sussed that out and there's nothing she can do about it for now unfortunately.

Yes... Sorry. It was more a rant at having to currently run a diiferent browser for each site at the moment. At least that is what it feels like.

Question for all who are having Flash problems with Firefox. What antivirus.are you running? Wonder if that could have anything to do with it.

yes ember.....norton is a useless piece of software and can play havoc with settings

Safari is a great browser, everyone should try that...i myself have stood by Opera for the last 12 years....some sites play up with it but thats to do with lazy, useless web designers more than the program

Wouldn't be caught dead using Nortons Mobbz. But I have noticed that Trend are moving into the same direction of bloat and meglomania. I suppose it's not surprising seeing as the fellow that started it all is a little bit more than unstable of late.

I want my Amiga1200 back! Times were simpler then. Complexity just means there's more to go wrong.

When I go directly to Youtube and search videos, I can still see a video properly around half the time. I wonder why?

It may be the browser, it may be Flash, it may be Youtube. If its the browsers its both IE and Firefox.

This is what I see in a lot of embbeded youtube posts nowadays....The symbol is apparently a "filter" symbol as in the IE browser .

well thats even stranger.....it should have nothing to do with google chrome.

here is a link to fix that problem..

http://www.groovypost.com/howto/fix-chrome-error-message-profile-newer-version/

since you say you only use IE and firefox...perhaps you should also delete chrome in case some old version you have may be causing a problem although im not sure why
