s13 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2012 well i posted up my first attempt at a big track dec 09 so time for a new design similar to the old 1 just learning from my mistakes. 1. no crossovers 2. have the bridge at the back not the front. 3. though chinanes are cool they shouldnt be straight after a corner 4. less constant radius corners so with that said this is my idea for V2. unfortunately couldn't figure out how to change which goes on top and bottom in the software but in this design the crossover will be opposite to how it is. thinking teh back straight raised up with garages underneath for cars. Thanks to good old gumtree got a heap of new track and some other stuff for cheap cheap
s13 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2012 so looks like when i put the wrote the dimmensions down i did it wrong so that last design went out the windows. i ended up with the design below. no corssovers 1 bridge nice fast straight and some twisty bits. this track is awesome to drive a lot less de slots that the last and some tricky stuff you have to slow down for. also got some room now on the infield to make some garages for the cars under the back straight. mattcrackers 71 Report post Posted December 31, 2012 No Powerbase ! Nice track set up, looks better than your original plan. You wouldn't be spending to much time in the shed with the temps we have had here in Perth over the last few days would you. Matt
