mrslotcar.com 2 Report post Posted March 6, 2013 Another update to the schedule ... A rising interest in running another Plafit class on Sunday has prompted us to include the 70's Sports and Can-Am cars class (as per APC rules) but without the concourse points. The top post has been amended accordingly. mrslotcar.com 2 Report post Posted May 22, 2013 We have been putting in some huge hours building this track. Peter Dimmers, Len Harris, Dave and Paul Scrivens, Harold Whelan, Debbie Shaw and Ian Jarrott, have all put in a great effort. The biggest problem to date is finding an alternative to the unavailble Magnabraid! We've experimented with a couple of ideas but nothing really yielded the results we were hoping for. So the last resort ( and you can add another 3-4 day to the build) is to inlay a layer of steel under the braid. Experiments have shown a very similar magna traction effect to regular magna braid. So we are getting the steel especially laser cut to match every corner (damn more expense and extra work). Registration numbers prior the 15th of May cut off are pretty sad. I hope there are lots of attending racers with late entries? Because we provide the venue, track and facilities, we don't make the event ... YOU DO! So please if you are coming, send in your entry forms asap ... thanks Quote Cheers, Peter VH www.mrslotcar.com www.mrtrax.com www.mobileraceways.com.au https://www.facebook.com/mrslotcar https://www.facebook...raxcustomtracks Owner of Australia's fastest ever lap time on a Blue King track @ 1.4838 secs And the fastest pass ever on a 1/4 mile Drag strip @ 203.2 kmh Still the largest Raceway in Australia @ 800 square metres over 2 levels.
