Sunny Coast Slotter
Hi Im Joe Living the dream on the Sunny Coast Qld. We have just built a nice shed on our block and seeing the vast expanse of available concrete, well it got me thinking. Previously we had a 6 x 1.2 x 2.4 mt table with a 3 lane 27mtr routered track in my old garage. It served us well but sadly I moved and the track went to track heaven. It had over 500mm of elevation and was so much fun. Anyhow, the plan is a 6 x 1.2mt table with 3 lane routered track. Storage under the table satisfies the Missus and justifies its existance. She is actually pretty handy with the controller and has smashed out several record laps on the old track. I have planned it on CAD as I did the last one. I will post my progress as I go. Cheers Joe Quote Joe Sunny Coast Qld

Ember
I wish my lady would play cars with me,,, but I would only want her to marshall,,, & grab me a coffee & some toasties..... 'Cause otherwise she might win. Welcome aboard Joe. 6m table? Yikes. Colour me jealous of the space. Planning much in the way of elevational change for the new one? Embs Quote Computers. Sunny Coast Slotter
Hi Ember Gonna try to be aprox 600mm at highest point which is the rh at end of back straight. Our last track was 6 mtrs long too. The cars certainly fly. I only have a video of the last one, how do I post it? joe Quote Joe Sunny Coast Qld
Ember
Host it on YouTube or somewhere similar. Then post the link here surrounded with media tags (3rd from left on top row). Basically similar to the way you did the photos. Quote Computers. They'll never catch on. Sunny Coast Slotter
Thanks for the tip Embs. Its prettty basic using the latest technology available at the time( a Nokia phone gaffa taped to a Scaley hi impact Ferrari) It was a laugh doing it as the camera car had the phone taped across it making it quite unstable on the corners. It looks so fast on the movie but in fact I was only at about 1/2 throttle! Cheers Joe Quote Joe Sunny Coast Qld
