In addition to the series winners we encouraged entrants to repaint their cars in a fantasy livery to give the series some variation.
We received 17 entries.

Each track host at all rounds were asked to vote on their favorite repaint paintwork/livery.

All the cars on the front row above either received votes or special mentions. Team Umbria also received several mentions as well.

The winner by one vote was :

Congratulations Ember, photo's do not do it justice. Even looks better going around the track with the bright lights on. - well done. Ember get to pick a car from the prize pool (shown in the next post).

Earlier in the series Snurfen won a prize for guessing the tunes from a video Gazza put together

Hahahahahahaha.

What a fabulous prize pool, well done guys for getting such a generous selection.

I'm delighted with my prize, but I think junior has got his eye on it as next years entry number 60.

Congratulations to all the winners, the paint schemes were very inventive and some were beautifully executed. For the drivers in the top ten, well done and enjoy your well earned prizes.

Well done Ember, must have been the decals! Just imaging how much better it would have been IF I had the sizes right!
Just shows how well my car was painted, everyone must think it is a factory paint job!
Great prize pool well organized guys.

The sizes were right Phil. It's just a set for the back were black.

But, I must say a big thanks for those decals. They were so much easier to work with than the ones I tried to do for myself.

The car, when it gets home, will probably retire to a little vineyard diorama.

I need to get thinking on next year's livery.

Absolutely none Embs. The cars were placed on the track and put immediately back in their boxes. The photos were taken last February. The track wasn't even set up at the time.

BTW. It's a small thing but could we insist that the car numbers for next year are put in the same place on each car? There were a couple that were hard to find.

No probs Graham, things like this bought to our attention now can be fixed for next year no matter how big or small a problem is. I've also suggested that all participants make sure that there names are under there cars and also the host redo the names if they happen to rub off .Even the body screw instructions aswell.

I get what's left!!!!! Just bought a swift so I reckon number 2 will be on its way as well. Thanks for a great series, hope to get team Norfolk organised for next year, we have 4 independent entries from 2 clubs and 3 of those are handy with the spray paints. Obviously this year was a learning curve, the scaley tracks were challenging (3 last places) and that's what our technical team will be working on next year. Embers car deserved the best paint job award...well impressed.

Going to be a brilliant series next year if it is even possible to improve upon this year.

Hmmm.... I think I know what I want out of those pretties.

Yep, with the choice of the last two I simply eradicate the only one I'm not so keen on. If that goes before we get to me then I'm in trouble.

Sorry guys for the late answer, but I just got proper Internet,on the train back to London, couldn't load photos before.
My choices are the Subaru and the Ford Sierra.
On the way to Wolverhamton I had the chance to shake hands and exchange a few words with living legend:

Wow, you lucky guy! SSM is my idol. Such a lovely and approachable fellow.

You've chosen the two cars that I was not fussed about winning so my choice is going to be much harder now! If there's an Escort or a 2013 qualifying car left I shall be really happy.
