Ember 71 Report post Posted September 26, 2012 The ferns are a laser cut paper kit by Kamizukuri. They come in a sheet like this And with patience, paint and time (and some choice words occasionally) become this I got mine from HobbyLink Japan, but only because my regular hobby suppliers didn't have stock. The price itself was cheaper from Japan, but of course the difference was eaten up by shipping. Worked out fairly even on price in the long run. I'd dearly love to be able to get a bulk supply of them without having to pay the $$$s, but the only option there would be a small-bed laser cutter. Quote Computers. They'll never catch on. teamredracing 10 Report post Posted September 26, 2012 (edited) Thanks all. Not sure how I should go about adding timing to the stage. Stopwatch of course, the timing gear you have when your computor timing gear fails . So I heard . Well done Em , thought you were doing a garden track when I first looked at it. Ember 71 Report post Posted September 26, 2012 Well given that the main track has no timing system the ol' "One Mississippi... Two Mississippi... " might be the go. Actually Mel, the Focus worked out to be a fortuitous shelf grab to check size and clearance. It's the rally car with the fattest arse. Even the Ninco Evo fits between hummock and wall with a bit more room to spare. SCX cars all fit through quite nicely, with the exception of the C2 which is a little low. Quote Computers.
