Had a disappointing day today so that makes it a lot better. Thanks for the massive effort that you are putting in.

Im leaving this little island (Vanuatu, not Tasmainia ;) ) at sparrows tomorrow so ill have to wait until I get back to the freezing cold to see the results.

Well Ben, you did fairly OK today and so did some of the others. :)

Round 9 is all over now, so I will get the results knocked into shape and off to Mark asap.

Usual batch of droppers and climbers so it wasn't necessarily exactly as the overnight top 12 leaderboard would have suggested.

I have photos of the Stage 3 podium cars and also of the top four cars overall - there was only 0.68 seconds between the top 3 and 1.47 seconds between 1st and 4th.

The top car on the day was from Down Under...! :o

The top car overall for Round 9 was from....well, I'm not going to tell you, I'll keep you in suspense a bit longer, I think!

During the week I will take some photos on the Manx Hill Climb and some more videos of the cars, but I ran out of space on my memory card today.

I have loads of photos and video clips already, but will deal with those during the week.

It's been a lot of fun being involved in organising two Rounds and I'd like to thank all the team for their help - Andy, Barbara, Mike Buss, Steve Morrow, Doug, Brian Harrison and Dave Kneale - thanks folks, it couldn't have happened without you all.

Bye for now

Dave

Top effort team. Well done to those who did well, and commiserations to my fellow bottom feeders.

Looking forward to the final results, hoping I claw my way up a place or two.

Great job Dave, and congratulations to all the winners, and a big thank you to all the helpers and organizers, It's been a huge task this year with 42 runners, and not to be entered into lightly ..... many thanks

I think you'll find we all entered into this before we knew there were going to be 42 entries Gaz. Never mind, I would've done it anyway, and I'm sure we all would.

That was more of a latlava stage than a loeb bringing it home, lost inordinate amounts of time and watched the three behind me creep by! Oh well, congrats to Ben, devious and Mexico for the stage placings, and Ben, alexis and dave for the rounds podium placings.

11th place, wow my car does love plastic tracks, seems the crazy motors magentic force hides the cars other issues that show up on the board tracks.

Well done to all the round and overall winners, and congrats to the team running this round. Just a wonderful event.

Wow. Aussie invasion for the last stage. Top 6 cars. How bizarre. I think it's probably an appropriate time for an:

Aussie Aussie Aussie

Sorry, I don't know what came over me there.

Congratulations Ben, Dave and Gary for the stage results. And to Ben, Alexis and Dave C for the Round points. Go Team Mitsi!

Huge congratulations to Dave and the Max team for running the two rounds over a massive couple of weekends. Enormous effort.

But damn. Home ground advantage has been enough to get Dave up and over. The tie has been broken and Dave swarms ahead. Bugger!

Series results have been updated - biggest mover and shaker is Ben M moving up a whopping 5 places. Can anyone catch Alexis in the last 4-5 rounds?

The frogs manufacturers are tied at the top of the manufacturer leader board along with the Aussies - it does imply that Aussies buy French cars for performance but I doubt that very much.

A huge thanks to Dave for running R9 - a great effort and in such good spirit - well done.

Dave has shown with a 5th and 2 8th's in this round that you do not need the quickest car to be on the podium (3rd)

Congratulations to those finishing 4th to 42nd - without us the guys above wouldn't look so good

I just need a quick 100 points and I could be in with a chance. :P ;)

Also a big thanks to Dave and his club crew for running a very good round so quickly and efficiently.Posted Image

1st place in Team Umbria
2nd place ROE
3rd place Citroen C4
2nd place of those who didn't gain or lose a position overall

Oh, and highest placed car with 55 on it

I'm on a roll!!!! :D

Congrats to all the bastards that beat me and many thanks to those that didn't, and to Dave Capelen and crew for two fantastic rounds. Sit back and have a rest now you guys.

Thanks for the runs all. It appears my car is still moving. I know someone replaced a defective motor. If you'll contact me I'll be happy to take care of that.

On to... somewhere else!

Damn. It'd be nice to run the far north rounds. Nice to be able to say that I'd at least had a car there.
