Roger Miller
I had to go see what was what.................. The bearings have balls so any of the slot car oils. The gears are plastic so I would use same. BUT NSR Make a dedicated plastic lube Also is there any thing a should put on the chrome scalextric stripts to prevent corrosion. Track ? Well.... slot cars.... all the time and plenty of them Quote ...............Take it easy

Dreamer
Inox MX3 for track rails - sparingly. I use this on a mobile track. It hadn't been used for 6 mths, but only had one bad connection when tried. Ran for 3hrs per day for next 3 days with no problems
