Mohawkk 5 Report post Posted October 7, 2012 (edited) I am still playing around a bit with mixed results. First up is my oz rally proxy car. I painted the yellow first out of a can as I still have a lot tamiya cans left over. the blue was from the air brush. I did have a problem with crazing because I tried a new clear..... wont be trying it again Now with the crazing and it being a rally car the fix was relatively straight forward. The shading is done with the airbrush and the darker mud spots are flicked with a brush. The weathering is a bit heavier than I would like but was needed to cover the F*#$ up. Other examples using standard liveries. And a Porsche that has just completed 24hrs Edited October 7, 2012 by Mohawkk Quote Love, Kai
Burglar 4 Report post Posted October 7, 2012 Great! What was the clear that caused the crazing of the Tamiya paint?
Mohawkk 5 Report post Posted October 8, 2012 It was a cheap tin of enamel clear, It seemed to be alright but I put another coat of tamiya clear over the top of the enamel and thats when I noticed it. Quote Love, Kai
