Smithy 2 Report post Posted November 15, 2012 Not a bad night last night. Snake your V8 went well last night. Just need to add some spacers to stop movement in back axle. Enjoyed the FAST track as well especially running the Lancia before and after official racing. Nice to see it stretch its legs.Also great to see Viv deciding to be Pie Man in one race. SlotsNZ 115 Report post Posted November 16, 2012 Nope, V8 Supercars generally slower than NASCAR. Best NASCAR time last night were 6.4 on mine, V8 best laps 6.5 on mine. I did 69 laps in 8 minutes for NASCAR, 68 for V8 Supercar. Track wasn't as much traction as nationals, but not bad, bit mucky offline. I have also simplified the menu, so there are less pages, and all club, class and general track rules are in one place, and read more friendly and informal, like we actually are these days. I have updated member's tracks as well. I added a copy of the 2012 Nationals Rules to the index, on their own page. I made a half baked attempt at updating model homologation, but there are lots recent releases missing. It's such a job to get that right and keep updated. So I have added comment, as a general guide only, not exhaustive. Stuff like Gallery and Videos need change, and I still have to update contact details. Mike and Chris are on some, only me on others. We should have at least two members details there. Who else would like to be a contact person for the site? One question that arose as I updated the stuff. - Weight in PUG 406. I thought weight was allowed, and I think I have weight in my nose. Is it allowed or not? Ideas and critique of the site welcomed. At 10 volts its not too bad. It just means we cant run on Chris's as he has fixed volts. But if we are to run at 12 then I think weight should be allowed.
