Pedro51
After my pre-65 spat a lead wire out under the front wheel I have been busy prepping a new “faster one”. The #1 replacement feels a bit slow with a slimline 16,000 motor but handles well, I may look at gearing options. There is a #2 backup car in the works, just needs rear tyres truing and it will be ready for testing. We have had a preliminary chat about replacing my shed with a modern improved version.
Pedro51
I will be home for the choo choo night so will likely attend. I may get some inspiration for scenery work on the Bahia Vista. Edited September 24, 2019 by Pedro51

slotmadmac
Cheers boys. That was a good nights racing and the caravans were a hoot - although rough as guts compared to when I first set them up. I checked them after racing and all had serious tyre degradation. Whatever the tyres were, they haven't lasted - and were in bad shape at the end of the night. I'll replace them and trial a guide system in the caravans too. We want them smoooooooooooth as. Booyah you crazy mongrels. Quote Podiums are for short people.

Pedro51
Wow four classes in a night, great night Mac. I was thinking the caravans needed better tyres, but not too sticky, they need to still slide and not get tippy. Tippsy is the drivers department. David Carter
Thanks for hosting Mac I think the caravans shouldn't have a pin fitted as that will take away the fun and make them to easy to drive avoiding swinging caravans just adds to the challenge Quote Holdens rule the rest just drool slot cars are my drug, ATCC/Bathurst proxy host NZ Grp5 proxy host.
