HBMRC - Hawkes Bay, NZ

Recommended Posts

After my pre-65 spat a lead wire out under the front wheel I have been busy prepping a new “faster one”.

The #1 replacement feels a bit slow with a slimline 16,000 motor but handles well, I may look at gearing options.

There is a #2 backup car in the works, just needs rear tyres truing and it will be ready for testing.

We have had a preliminary chat about replacing my shed with a modern improved version.

Cheers boys. That was a good nights racing and the caravans were a hoot - although rough as guts compared to when I first set them up. I checked them after racing and all had serious tyre degradation. Whatever the tyres were, they haven't lasted - and were in bad shape at the end of the night. I'll replace them and trial a guide system in the caravans too. We want them smoooooooooooth as. Booyah you crazy mongrels.

Podiums are for short people.

Boys - you're gonna love the new improved caravans. No need for any pin guides or anything. They are smoooooth as and easy to drive / fully race worthy now. Booyah!

I saw the caravans run yesterday after the tune-up. Very sweet! B)

The next race with these will be very different from last weeks.....
