Ember
Just heard. Bit of a shock. No announcement of causes yet. Couldn't stand her warbling myself, but each to their own. inveterate retiree
There is at least one potent denial: http://abcnews.go.co...d=102477&page=1 Time will tell... Ember
That was posted on 6 February. There have been a few occasions over the years where announcements of death have been made only to be retracted later. But even that comes up as rather odd. Ember
It seems the tragedy continues. Whitney's 18 year old daughter who had been staying with her at the hotel has just been rushed to hospital. Such a shame to continually lose extremely talented people to bad choices. But perhaps we can't have one without the other and extreme talent in an artistic endeavour must be offset by some form of instability either mental, physical or emotional. Quote Computers. inveterate retiree
... <snip> ... perhaps we can't have one without the other and extreme talent in an artistic endeavor must be offset by some form of instability either mental, physical or emotional. Historically, it would seem that Leonardo da Vinci's only problem was that he perhaps had homosexual/bisexual tendencies? Though it surely is a bit hard to tell for certain from a distance of ~500 years. I expect that even the Roman Catholic church created by the Emperor Constantine I. may forgive Leonardo for that, these days... Especially when just the modern history of that particular church is considered. (I probably shouldn't have said that.) Ember
Actually, there has been theorising may have had a few issues other than sexual leanings. But it can only ever be theorising from the time difference. And Michelangelo Buonarroti? Well...other than being a bit of a shyster, who knows. Quote Computers. They'll never catch on. chrisfromcrewe
And what about that bloke his missus and the one eyed talking snake. Something not quite right there. Anyway the list is endless. Billy Fury, Janis Joplin, Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Mama Cass, Elvis Presley, John Lennon, Lynrd Skynrd, Duane Allman, Marc Bolan, John Bonham, Jeff Buckley, Tim Buckley, Karen Carpenter, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Van Morrison oh sorry he's still alive, and that Australian singer who did nasty things with the loveable Kylie, and lots lots more. Dangerous business singing. Quote Ashes to ashes funk to funky we all know Chris is a junkie.
