I've been waiting for someone to kick off the new season thread as I didn't want to cut anyones grass but it's getting close 43 days till Albert Park & no takers so far so I thought what the hell!

Should be an interesting year, lots to discuss, movable rear wings, reactive ride height, KERS, no blown diffusers, new saftey car rule where cars can unlap themselves, Daniel Ricciardo...

The mclaren has been shown, although not in complete form, I think they keep the wings secret until testing.
The lotus Caterham has a broken nose....

Aghh. Ferrari & force india also have a broken nose. looks like a fugly bunch of cars this year

Yes I heard someone say, I think it was Button, that the nose's weren't going to be very attractive on many cars this year, cept of course on the Mclaren

Remeber the outcry a fews back when they mandated the narrow rear wings with the very wide front wings?

In a few races, you wont even notice....

There are very few classically beautiful sports and racing cars these days - in a racing situation, who wouldn't take fast over pretty?

Daniel is from my home town Perth Western Australia Bov, and also from Tiger Kart Club the same club I used to race at, pretty cool to have someone make it to F1 from the club & Perth!

Personally I'm still taking offers for 2013 but I think my phone might be broken

Testing has wrapped up, just pre season I know but a few interesting things, mainly Kimi was on it set the best time on day one in cold conditions and the track got better as the week went on, drivers did two days each& Daniel was very impressive as well about half a sec off Webber & Vettel...

biggest news from this test is that lotus had pack up and skip this test due to chassis issues.
Bad start to the year from them.
