Well we've been waiting long enough and even after the car being changed it's still the prettiest L34 of the bunch, far nicer than the other yellow ones. It does look much better in the flesh and if you had to pick one to take home of the 3 made then I have little doubt this one would be the top seller.

Some new motors arrived this week - pretty happy to get the latest Ninco Healey and to back fill the Ferrari 166MM.





I've been particularly restrained this year and I picked up a few of the newer slot.it's.

Congratulations Mark. Those first two photos are gorgeous. Very tempting. You know my love for a classic. But I'm hoping it's just the lighting that's making them so yummilicious. I've got a pair of Healeys, I don't need another one. But.... I don't have a Ferrari, and that shot is making me ever-so envious.

I have to say it the cars are pretty nice looking - sadly it's not the lighting. It only took me about a year to get the Ferrari and I was only able to acquire it thanks to a comment.

I still owe you a car and probably two after the SCX Proxy finishes so if you want a classic let me know and I'll acquire one as per the rule set.

It looks so much better than it ever would in red. But, knowing how you hunt these beauties and the going rate, I couldn't possibly consider it.

Nice haul Mark, did you get the spare set of tyres with the Newman car?
I just sold my Newman a few wees ago.

Interesting - I was unaware they came with a spare set of tyres - I'll have to have look.

Ironic world at the moment, the SICW01 was selling for around $180 just a few years back and with the re-release of a very similar livery it trashes the market for the original (same with all the reloaded versions). Still I shouldn't complain many of the other manufacturers do exactly the same (Scalex with the Lotus 49 set and the subsequent release of the cars individually - again it killed the value of the box sets).

Miveson, not all the newsmans came with the extra tyres. What had happened was slot.it released the cars with the wrong tyre brand on the tyre wall. So a few got released like that before the mistake was noticed. The later shipment of cars came with the right tyres extra in the box. Have a look at what is written on the tyre wall (Goodyear) and what the tyre sponsorship is on the car (Dunlop), Goodyear & Dunlop dont go well together.
