gazza
Good morning all, today the first stage at Well Mountain will be run. The stage will start at 16.00 hours that's in about 7 hours from the time of this post. But before I start I need someone to give me some info on the finer workings of the SCX Rally Cronometer. The display does not display many characters, and I wonder how you see the digits of the time on longer runs ??? Ok thanks I'll try it when I get there, I need to go on a 2 and a half hour train and bus journey to get there. Unfortunately I won't be online all the time as I have to wallk about a mile to get to a computer. But talk to you later Quote Quickly read this post before it is deleted or i turn grey again Gary http://www.facebook.com/Rallyproxy2017

356speedster
SCX Classic Rally Proxy series 2011 Round 11 - Rally Denmark Stage-1: Shopping mall Current standings after stage-1 PDF version: http://www.scxworldwide.com/ipb/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_id=717 Still an open battle with two stages to go, except for in class-1 if that Renault 8 continue with it's impressive speed. Thanks for the results from first stage Lars, looking forward to see the pics. Tore

gazza
Well what can I say everything that could go wrong did......but more on that later here are the results of the final round at Well Mountain Well Mountain Stage 3 The nightstage 10 Laps Class 1 Mini Cooper Nr.177 365Speedster 3.53.68 3 Offs Beautifull car, Sounds like a bag of rusty nails, Rides on the crownwheel, no selfadjusting guide and due to the copper screw it sometimes short out the track due to old fuzzy braid. Lancia Stratos Nr.5 Antony 3.18.70 2 Offs Who does not like a Stratos especially in Alitalia trim, unfortunately the stickers are the wrong colour, and sometimes it seems that it prefer to go straight instead of following the slot round a corner. Very smoth running. Lancia Stratos Nr.26 Kid Voltage 3.22.17 1 offs True colors (Alitalia that is) full throttle all the way, and a very hot motor when done. Last year it was an untameable biscuit, this year it's about to take it's final breath. Reneault 8 Nr. 101 Wolves 2.47.68 0 offs A wolf in a cheap dress maybe, quite heavy for a small car but fast as lightning and a very pleasant surprise. What happend to the lights ?? I love lights. Class 2 Talbot Nr.16 Reek 3.12.53 1 Offs Practically running on it's rims and with a broken selfcentering guide (Missing spring) very tail happy and occationally buttom out due to heavy wear on the tires. Reneault Alpine Nr.14 Chuck 2.58.27 2 Off Quite noisy for an Alpine and with too much sideways axel slop on the front wheels, but a pure pleasure to watch with all lights intact. Fiat Spider Nr.7 Graham Lane 3.16.35 2 Offs Very leight weight needs a load of bricks in the trunk to stay better on the road as of now it's all over the place, but very pretty running in the early ohrs of the night.(All lights still working) Ford Escort Nr. 10 Mr. M 3.03.47 1 Off I must admit that I've taken a liking to the SCX Escorts as the ones I've driven is a very smooth experience, not the fastes car though, however it has all of it's lights intact, but a bit of it's weight loose. Fiat 131 Nr.55 Yngwie 2.45.03 Super smooth power to the people, Ford Escort Nr. 50 Highlander 2.58.86 2 Off Very nice car that could easily disapear between the Well Mountains and Norway, all lights there and running how you would expect it to. Fiat 131 Nr. 52 OTFS 2.49.13 1 Off Sweet car running like a bat out of hell with lights and everything, one of the best of the Amada of Lada's ( with a body kit that is) Ford Sierra Cosworth Nr.18 Scott 3.03.45 2 Offs Probably the smoothest drive of all the cars in this years proxy, however it has a will of it's own and every now and then deslots for no apparent reason, my best guess is that the front wheels are very grippy and the front axel has some sideways slop, so sometimes when going downhill into a tight turn I think the front wheels grip too much and forces the car out of the slot. It has lights.....Cool Reneault 5 Nr. 15 LanciaB 2.53.44 1 Off All lights intact even though a bit stuttering but on this one there is no bleed through, always wanted my mom to upgrade her Reneault 4 to a maxi turbo, but she never did, they (SCX) should make this car with the same guide system as the Fiat 131's which works much better. Eventually when she did buy a new car it was a Lada :-) Which wass kind alike in between a Fiat 131 and as tracktor. Fiat 131 Nr. 102 Wolves 3.08.58 1 Off Probably a burnt motor, very inconsistence speed, some laps I had the controller at max and then at others it would go faster and I would have to ease of a bit at certain places. Reneault Alpine Nr.1 Devious Dave 2.47.35 Great little lightweight driver but no lights :-( Very strong breaks. Fiat 131 Nr.4 ColDeTurini 3.12.03 2 Offs This one drives just like a Lada with jerky movement every now and then. Seat 131 Nr. 205 Zero5 2.46.96 1 Offs Hard to see in the night without lights but remarable steady almost driving it self, I think they retrofittet it with stolen stealth technology back in eastern europe Talbot Sunbeam Nr.56 Antony 3.05.28 1 Offs Very Noisy, tail happy and withoput the selfcentering guide running on slicks and performs best on a flat track with no ups or downs as it scraspes the buttom. Still running with a full set of light :-) Fiat 131 Nr.61 Jexy 2.48.12 2 Off Another blast from behind the iron curtain, No lights :-( Lada power par excelence Citroen DS Nr. 195 365Speedster 3.12.04 3 Off Maybe the one car I've been looking forward to the most, no lights anymore but it's starting to drive smother for each lap it takes, as it was quite noisy to start with. Quite amazed by it's driveability, when you take the size of it into consideration. Class 3 Ford RS 200 Nr.66 Kid Voltage 2.51.31 2 Offs Very nice car but sometimes a bit unexspected going straght for no reason at all. Lancia 037 Nr. 17 Leo Capaldi 3.06.36 1 Off Lacks a bit of top speed and 1 mud flap, however it remains as one of my favorite body shapes of all time. Porche 959 Nr. 99 Team Red 2.44.13 1 Off Very Smooth driver, But what did you do to the lights,..... shame on you. Ferrari GTO Nr. 103 Wolves 2.51.41 2 Off Such a nice car with the red underpan and the yellow body, Really really fast but suffering from bad grip, Lancia 037 Nr. 305 Zero5 2.57.89 Have been trimming the Ninco guide to perform better on Classic track. Lancia Delta Nr.32 Antony 3.02.43 2 Offs Suffering from a missing spring in the self adjusting guide and lacking a bit of top speed that I know these monsters are capeable of. Toyota Cerlica Nr.11 BenM 2.54.00 1 Off Solid seated in the slot and brute force on aceleration. Lancia 037 Nr. 28 365 Speedster 3.12.18 Noisy and genrally not my best friend of the proxy. Ferrari GTO Nr.3 Reek 2.49.59 1 Off Very nice car even though a bit noisy, driving very fast and hitting a bumb in the road can take the rear axel out of the bushings forcing the car to perform a full stop. Lancia Delta Nr. 19 OTFS 2.48.26 1 Off Like a black cat in the night, very difficult to see without lights, smooth sound and predictable driving. Me like Porche 956 Nr.9 Gazza 2.38.01 1 Off Heavy weight baslistic misile with light, and all the whistles and bells, there must be something in the water. Toyota Nr.2 RallyP 2.46.60 2 Off Leightweight cruiser misile, and maybe a tad too light after all. Ontheflipside
Thanks Gaz, Your 23 points ahead of the "P" hope you lights work on the last round. Not many cars have lights (from memory).
