jimmyslots 1950
Good start to the new series last night at X-Treme with the Scalextric Torana's having their first race & proving to be a very good car in box stock form. Scaleauto's started their new series with the new OEPS rule changes adopted & with the cars now lower & more ballsy looking. We also picked up 2 new starters in Jason & young Brock who have been bitten by the Scaleauto bug & a few more making enquires about racing. Battery caused a few dramas with inconsistant power so we switched to 13.8 v power supply for Scaleauto's but a new battery is being sourced as the power was a bit down. Greg had a long awaited win in Torys followed by me & JJ in div 1.Josh took out div 2 & if he keeps that up will surely move up a division soon, good drive Josh.Mark continues to put in good laps for 2nd & John taking a well earned 3rd. Scaleauto's div 2 was a very very close race with 1st,2nd & 3rd from last series finishing on 99 laps to share the win with Clinton 2nd & newby Jason 3rd in a car that was thrown together on the night. Here's a pic of Cam's repaint Tory & result sheets. Nice work Cam Cheers Jimmy Quote To finsh first, first you gotta finish

jimmyslots 1950
Rd 5 1/24th scale racing at X-Treme was run on Thursday night.Cam set a new track record with his Nascar on the Blue lane & the time to beat is 7.712,he also set a Lap track record in Mini Z's of 116 Laps, well done Cam. Power was down as the battery is still out of action & 13.8 v power supply was used but didn't effect the Fox powered cars too much. Here's the results & some Mini Z pics Chrisses Enzo Apair of Enzo's repainted Cheers Jimmy Quote To finsh first, first you gotta finish
jimmyslots 1950
Monday night we had Rd 2 of Scaleauto & Scalextric Torana's racing on the Diggers Track at X-Treme & Josh had a very good night finishing 4th in Toranas & 3rd in Scaleauto outright to take out Div 2 by a good margin. John & Rob finished equal 2nd in Scaleauto with Charles 1 lap down in 3rd. JJ had a good 2nd in dIv 1 closely followed by Paul in 3rd in his second race with these cars, he thinks he can improve as he is just starting to learn how to tune the chassis,so watch out JJ. Torana's were fun to race & watching them barrel roll when the mag let go was very entertaining for the marshalls. jimmyslots 1950
Nice surprise to see Cam at the track on Thursday night after cutting his Snowy holiday short due to lack of snow.He only missed Mondays racing & was on a mission taking wins in all 3 classes. The boys said there will be a big dump of snow next Thursday & have kindly chipped in to allow you to finish your ski trip, nice blokes aren't they. Here's the results & some pics X-Treme's HSV field Just finished Gregs Vette for American Muscle, think it's going to be a good performer. jimmyslots 1950
Mondays racing was on the Pitstop track & with the new battery installed there was little chance of power surges that were experienced the last couple of weeks. Toranas were first to be raced & one of our newbies had a good win in Div 2 ,well done Brock.David & Charles were one lap behind to share 2nd with Ben taking 3rd. In Div 1 Paul & Steve L shared 1st on 103 laps & Greg a good second on 101 laps Scaleauto's race was shortened to 1 1/2 minute brackets. Rob had a good win in Div 2 with Charles & John filling silver & bronze. Paul had a good night getting his Porsche honking to just miss out on a win by one lap. Some very close racing with only 2 laps seperating the top 6 in div 1. Cheers Jimmy Quote To finsh first, first you gotta finish

JJ had a great night with 2 wins, one with his new Muscle car & a 2nd in Nascars. Mini Z's was the closest race with 3 drivers finishing on 109 laps to share the win. Here's the results & JJ's new Cuda,I'll post the final results for series 3 later. jimmyslots 1950
Monday night was the 4th & final round of our Scalextric Torana buy car series. Racing was on the Diggers track & Steve L blitzed the field in Div 1 & Josh in Div 2. Next week will be a night race for Torana's & we will find out which car is to be used for the next series, hopefully the Scaleauto Radicals but if they are not avaliable Slot it would be a good choice as we have run them before with no dramas. Here's the results Cheers Jimmy Quote To finsh first, first you gotta finish

jimmyslots 1950
Series 3 of our 1/24th Scale racing at X-Treme Trax wound up last week & Chris continued to dominate with some very consistant driving winning American Muscle,Mini Z & 2nd in Nascar. American Muscle had 5 different drivers taking wins to make it the most unpredictable class. Each class has had new cars this series & the presentation & attention to detail is improving all the time as well as some very sweet chassis set ups, well done guys. Here's the results with worst result dropped. Cheers Jimmy Quote To finsh first, first you gotta finish

jimmyslots 1950
Scalextric Torana's finished their series last week & we now own them.Torana's have proved to be a very good car for us to race in box stock format & will probably get another run down the track as new liveries come out. This series we had 20 starters in 2 divisions & for any slot car centre that is a very good turnout. With only 4 races & dropping the worst result it was always going to be a close series but Josh in Div 2 didn't think so,by the time everyone had come to grips with how to drive them it was all over & he won all his races he went in with the only other div 2 driver to take a win was young Brock when Josh had the night off. Next week we start the new series with any Slot it the car of choice. On Monday night we did a test & tune night with the Slot it's & looks like everyone has picked something different Gary's Ferrari F40 was cutting some very quick laps, but not to worry after I scrutineer the thing it will come back to the field & will be lucky to finish a race! Here's the final results Cheers Jimmy Quote To finsh first, first you gotta finish
jimmyslots 1950
Last night we started Series 4 of our 1/24th Scale racing at X-Treme Trax Dapto. New battery is in place & we can't complain about power dips with 14 volts of manpower to play with. Nascars as usual was a close race with 3 people sharing the win.The Captain had a good race in Yanky Muscle to take the win closely followed by Chris & Greg. Mini Z's we went back to 12 v power supply to get used to lower power for the upcoming APC,but after the first bracket the race was aborted & restarted on Battery power. At the end of the night we checked the power supply & found it dipped to 9v with 5 cars in action. Here's results & pics of some very nice new cars. jimmyslots 1950
Slot it buy series kicked of on Monday night & 21 entrants makes for a very healthy field. The group is still split into 2 divisions & seems to be working quite well so no need to change things. Diggers track was our first venue & Gary had his best result all year to take 1st in div1.Josh was div2 winner & it dosen't matter what car we run he does very well in all classes & looks like a promotion to div1 next year Josh ,well done. Here's Slot it Rd 1 & Scaleauto Rd 5 Cheers Jimmy Quote To finsh first, first you gotta finish
jimmyslots 1950
Last Thursday night we ran Rd 2 of Series 4 of our 1/24th scale slot cars at X-Treme Trax. Only 8 entrants with a few people off with work commitments but we still had a lot of fun. Mini Z's are getting a good work out with the APC in September every one is into final preparations & still trying to find a good gear set to suit each cars handling, but with 14.5 volts at Dapto & only 12 volts for the APC it will be a guess in the end. Here's Thursdays results. Cheers Jimmy Quote To finsh first, first you gotta finish
jimmyslots 1950
Rd 2 of our Slot it buy car series was run on Monday night & Steve L had a great drive taking out Div 1 on 102 laps just in front of Pitstop & JJ on 100 laps. Father & son,Charles & Clinton shared the Div 2 win with 91 laps each & young Brock in 2nd. We also had Rd 6 of our Scaleauto 1/24th & with the battery charger working giving us plenty of power to play with. :D Paul & Cam had their Porsches cranked up to take 1st & 2nd in Div 1 with some very quick lap times which are on par with our Plafit Mini Z's that we run on Thursday nights. John had a good win in Div 2 closely followed by Clinton & Charles. Here's the results.
