This one has stuck in my head all these years , I still know all the words down pat , funny what sticks with you isn't it ?

Don't remember that particular version of Amoco jingle. I'm guessing it must be a little older than the one I recall. Interesting choice of using a Morgan for their hero car.

Just found the version I remember better. Round about the same time.
Looking through their ads they've really used some great cars over the time. Aston Martin covertible in the 60s.

A name I know and an ad that I don't. Trying to work out why I know the Kevin Dennis dealership. Dad bought the XT at New Oakleigh Motors (no I don't remember its purchase) and went to buy its replacement there but finished up at Syer Ford instead. Still unsure why the Kevin Dennis name has been hanging in my head since childhood.

Hey Em , Seeing yours was a Melbourne dealer I am pretty sure that a motor dealer and race sponser Ron Hodgson up here in Sydney had a similar Update add,but I cant find it.So here is the go ,can some one find it to clarify please.

Your'e right , the tag line was " Update with Ron Hodgson Motors " My father used to lease some of his commercial space to Ron hodgson for the race team . Ron Missen ran out of a small factory unit behind Tosich Constructions in Lansvale .
