kalbfellp 69 Report post Posted September 4, 2011 Peter Pre made some resin Merc transporter kits. They sometimes appear for sale, but very over priced! Mark Gussin has a feature of his build of one if Peters kits on his site. Quote Phil Hobart Miniature Car Club Tassie Resins Email

Eno the Wonderdog 7 Report post Posted September 5, 2011 I picked up one of these Nu Ray trucks from the local hobby shop for about $50. The rear trailer is removable. Truck carries 3 cars, rear trailer 5. Ramps on trailer are moveable. kalbfellp 69 Report post Posted September 5, 2011 That Mercedes one is not a very good representation of the 1:1 car, certainly no where as good as the one on Marks' site. Quote Phil Hobart Miniature Car Club Tassie Resins Email

Eno the Wonderdog 7 Report post Posted September 8, 2011 Possibly a tenuous link, possibly an excuse to post Car Porn, but I believe the cab of the Mercedes car transporter is featured clearly in this video of the W196 GP & Streamliner. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6Dh2Og7EzY&feature=player_embedded Quote Captain's log: We are enroute to some planet whose name I cannot pronounce to do something really complicated that I don't understand. chrisfromcrewe 13 Report post Posted January 22, 2012 After a quick repaint, service and general tidy up it runs like a dream. Sadly it is soooooo long that on anything tight the trailer drops off the track but it has enough power to keep going despite that. The strange double cog gearing inside the tractor gives a real impression of big lorry. Quote Ashes to ashes funk to funky we all know Chris is a junkie. kalbfellp 69 Report post Posted March 23, 2019 Paul no images showing. Stus Transporters need a lot of work to finish. The one I have and seen are 3d printed, so have print lines that need to be filled and sanded.
