Great find Gazza.

ElliotMustang-Anglia13onTruck.jpg

This reminds me of the early years at Bathurst (could be?)- that's if the car wasn't actually driven there and most were.

OTFS The transporter was owned by Don Elliott of Elliot Bros.transport. The cars on the transporter were raced by Robin Pare mainly here in Tasmania. The pic looks like Symmons Plains old pit area.

Don was a former race who sponsored some Tasmanian race drivers. Tony Edmonson probably being the most well know.

Tony managed the transport company until July this year when it closed.

The truck in the pic and the Mustang have both been restored and were in the possession of Chas Kelly last I heard.

The Merc rig is an interesting beast.

I just showed my wife these pics, we were both really taken my the Merc. I wonder if that was the only one of those they ever produced?

I used to be surprised that I was still surprised by my own stupidity, finding it strangely refreshing.

Well I don't now.

I'm over it!

Nice find Mobbzee. But, the front just doesn't look as good as the real thing.

I watched one on EBay soe years ago and it was about 1500 euro when I lost interest! Peter only made 50 kits.

I have a set of scale drawings but I don't have the skill to create one as good as Peters, his work is just great.
