Eno the Wonderdog
Amazingly I have found a song about Gazza on U-Tube. I'm hoping to run a Team Slot Lancia Stratos. I'll be building next weekend when the Stepson (who understands electrical diagrams) builds my lighting rig for me. It will also have wheels and tyres.. and hopefully some custom stickers. And I'm attempting a me head.. that's harder. Quote Captain's log: We are enroute to some planet whose name I cannot pronounce to do something really complicated that I don't understand. manimmal
If the image doesn't state the obvious, the interior is not the one going in the car, just a temporary edition to help sort her out. Should be a pretty good runner, but without a rally track of my own to sort the car on who knows until the series starts.... The Stig
I suppose Munter will have a Kiwi as his navigator! I have scrounged a Scalex 260Z and am negotiating to get it painted. While I work out how to fit an NC2 into the Scalex chassis and fit some larger wheels and tyres. Found a pic of this one and the colours are close to the Megane! Z rally car Edited September 18, 2010 by The Stig Quote The Stig

kalbfellp
I am waiting to see how these rear engined cars go on a rally track, anyone tried one as yet. The rear weight might be just the thing to help flick them around the corners. I'm no rally expert being my first build, but after the right placement of the weight the car was great. No roll overs and the car does flick nice around the corners. munter
The munter tuned SCX Abarth is ready to take to the Australian rally slot tracks once again. There has been a major re-fit of internals....new motor, pinion, chassis tweaking and trimming, front axle carrier, body lightening and replacement of some weight. The original scx pinion didn't mesh well with the slotit crown and was noisy. My most urgent priority now is the guide and braids....any suggestions?........ might just go with renewing the braids. regards Quote John Warren Slotcars are my preferred reality
