Are the cars that failed going to get point penalty at all?

Cant see anything in the rules about penalties! :)

For future reference, you suggestion for doing such would be?

Tape or blue tack works on most cars, or a drop of Micro Scale clear in the screw hole also works well.

I put some araldite in the holes, let it go green before I screwed the screws back in, to tighten up the screws. Ill try a bit of tape too next time. tha chassis had been in and out of the car quite a lot .

So it doesn't have to be a permanent measure, just something that requires replacement each time the car gets opened up is fine.

Most cars are with the body screws loose to allow some body float, if the screws have been removed a few times the holes become worn and the screws will fall out during racing. All that is required is some method to prevent this.

A screw part way out soon damages the tape on a routed track.

Great news

Thanks to Jazzbell Plastering and all last years entrants,we have a very good prize pool this year.

Jazzbell has made a large cash donation and
donated his Fly Porsche to the winner!
Obsidith has donated some tyres for the best looking cars.

We has some entry fee left over from last year, some of this has helped lower this years entry fee.

I am adding two Tassie Resin kits to the above prize pool.

The actual prizes will be announced towards the end of the series.

right Emb a bit of blue-tack does the job easy to remove and replace if necessary

Hi Phil.

Keen to have a go at rally car next year if rules permit. Never had one but certainly liked the selection of cars this time round.

Any idea when rules will be out or is it same as recent series?

Regards

Chas we usually start the discussion about the following years event around July, so more news in a couple of months.
