I was worried about that too when the news first broke but I was lucky enough to see the Gunners at the 07 Sydney show and I could not fault it, 2.5hrs + of Axl's best. Easily better then the AC/DC tour of late IMO.

FPR have just anounced there enduro line up and it should be a beauty.Youlden joins Frosty in the #5 Falcon while Moffat will drive with Richo for the enduros.

Having Moffat and Richo sharing a car will be a ball tearer. Both will be trying to out due each other as Im sure both of them would love the full time seat for next year.

Now how do I get a few points back at Phillip Island as I've slipped back in the tips.

Clevo, the problem I am finding with the V8's is the time between rounds! If you want to get back some points, you need to back FORD teams or previously funded FORD teams!
I have been backing HRT in every round and that is where most of my points have been flushed away!

(sorry Holden boys, had to see if using squiggies will work this type of morning!)

Big move by TeamRedRacing this week in what was one of the more controversial rounds of the V8's. We saw a black flag withdrawn, no black flag for a head light hanging on, black flag for driving too slow behind the safety car, some cars got black flags for spinning cars whilst others did not. And interestingly enough, a Blue oval car was on the wrong end of the decision on each occasion! Never mind. Tassie in 2 weeks so get your tips in!

Gotta keep this going. Symmons isnt an easy track to tip. And as usual ,they've said it's going to rain. But gotta admit one of my favourite viewing tracks. Luv going there ,but not this year.Hopefully next year for sure.

Oh thanks for the heads up. You would think the fact that I am heading to Sydney tomorrow for 3 days of motorsport at Homebush might have been a reminder to put my tips in... I think id better check ive got a rain coat, it could be a wet weekend.

Well we have a slight dilemma this year in the tipping contest. We have 2 guys on equal points. This poses the problem as to how split first prize, kindly donated by Clevo (Lowndes Scalextric BA Falcon)

My thoughts are to sell the car on ebay and split the prize money in half! Wondering if the 2 winners would object to this or is there a better solution? Please inform!

By the way, despite only having one third of the cars on the grid, FORD one again. Only natural I suppose!

As a avid holden supporter, the idea of cutting a ford in half appeals to me, , I'll pass on the car as long as you run the tipping contest next year. Braging rights are enough, even if a ford did win the title

Man - I thought my tips sucked for Homebush.... e.g. I had Frosty for pole for Sunday (darn those red flags...)

I guess my tips sucked less than eveyone else.... 'twas a complete lottery, wasn't it?

As to a tie-break - haven't got a clue, although it would be nice to rewarded.....

Anyone else really tired of M. White & M. Skaife's "Commentary"? One over sensationalises everything, and the other has stopped trying to hide his team bias...

Maybe a count back would be the best & fairest way to decide the winner, as with real V8 Supercar's. Not sure how that would work out, so someone would have to work that out?

It was alot of fun and I hope others enjoyed the comp also. I will have to tip the General more often, to be more competitivefor next year.

I'm still going through the collection at present, so I might have to put something aside for the 2011 prize.
