Why not get licensing sorted prior to production? I would have thought they would look into it at a conceptual stage. Mind you, officially you can call it what you like... It's still an Aston Martin.

If you recall, they also scrapped the first run of GT40 Mk II because people complained about the lack of lower driving lights.

The thing with this one Kirk, is that they did originally have approval to produce it with the Aston Martin name.
Computers. They'll never catch on.

Ok cheers - I just thought once you got written approval you'd be fine. Surely you'd be able to send others the bill for some production costs if they go back on their word.

... (double post) then there are opportunity costs if they can't produce official Aston Martin liveries. Who wears that once approval has been overturned after production? Maybe NSR need to start looking at Mclaren and Lamborghini... Are there any existing licenses there?

Gave my 'green eyed' Aston it's first run the other day and I'm really happy with the way they perform on track .
In the GT3 Sports class they run at T-Birds the most dominant car of late has been the NSR Corvette , but I reckon in the right hands the Aston should be fairly competitive as well .

I saw the pre-production ones shown in the photos at the NSR 24 hour. Very nice looking bodies and they stirred a hell of a lot of interest. Flat and low was the impression I got.
