gzminiz
If these cars are only in sets, please explain how people are getting them as singles??? Step one: buy a set Step two: sell it on ebay as pieces and get more money then u paid for it because people can't wait till they are released out of the set. Ahh capitalism. Johnsxr8
I paid $125 for the Lowndes Commodore, just to have it in the collection. I will look silly if they ever decide to release it by itself Quote Check out North Brisbane Slotcar Racing: http://northbrisslots.forumotion.com

(and I'm holden man) I'm hoping the ingall car will have a new chassis, but won't be surprised if it doesn't! Cleveland
Word on the street is Stevie Richards car will be available just before Christmas, the others will follow sometime early next year. I tried to find out if the 888 car will be sold individually, ......apparently Scaley are only making enough to put into the sets. Rob
Next time they visit the Holden chassis will be prolly 2015. Cant imagine any mid model enhancements. Edited December 12, 2010 by Rob Quote Regards Rob
sax0607
Shane, it has a lot of potential , half the work is already done for you ! I hope the commodore gets an upgrade to, otherwise I just have to up grade the VE a bit more Matt
triggy
Next time they visit the Holden chassis will be prolly 2015. Cant imagine any mid model enhancements. I am with others that think scaley should use the same chassis for both models. It would make economic sense and also create parity with the chassis performance, one would think, and therefore create close racing. Might be easier said than done tho. I do like the more realistic look of the FG Falcon where they have already lowered it to look closer to the 1:1 car. eagleby flyer
If the new fords are digital plug ready (DPR), wouldn't they have to change the holden chassis the same way. Are the new holdens DPR ? Anyone with the lowndes VE know?
Ian
The new Lowndes and Davidson cars aren't digital ready so they have not had the chassis upgrade, Ian

first corner crash
santa got my Richards FG for $58 from scalxworld Under 60 bucks for a car is pretty good. I am looking at the chassis and think it looks a better shape. The rise in the rear happens after the axle so the motor isn't climbing over it as in earlier chassis. Finding a way to get the old chassis to handle was a bit of an art form this one looks like it should be better. Have to wait and see it in the flesh though. truckslot
The Ford's normally come last Jason! Expect them to hit the shelves after (?!!!) Christmas, at least to my knowledge... if thats the case, how come ford have won the last couple of championships.holden tried to buy one with vodafone but that didnt work either.so now holden buy the series champion from ford for next year.Roland Dane even admitted that changing to holden ruined Whincups chances this year,he would of been champion if he stayed in a ford. I think manimmal was referring to the fact that in any given model year scaley generally release the holdens first. Not a reference to their on track performance. It is a contrived series now anyway so which manufacturer is winning is really a moot point. One thing with these cars that i have been told from Shane (jazzbell) is that they are both wider and lower than the previous cars and even have a slight wheel flare which makes them look more authentic but will give them an undoubted performance advantage. Also the chassis looks like a complete flat chassis rather than the previous slight arc. I am thinking these will be the gun cars in v8 racing. 1 Quote 4x national champion 6x national runner up.
