Andrew
The FG Falcon Gis looks great and I cant wait to get one but Is it just me or do the fuel intakes seem to have disappeared.. If so then the car is probably not tempo printed and has a decal. Am not sure if this is often the case but I do know the diecast industry has been having all sorts of quality control problems of late relating to poorly placed decals. Any thoughts or does anyone have one yet to confirm or deny this. Tintin Hi Guys, re Tintin's post regarding the missing fuel intakes, I picked up the Van Gisbergen car last week, and the fuel intakes clearly moulded and visible, whilst Torini logo incomplete ie Tori... as fuel intake replaces the last 2 letters . As most photos of car on web appear without fuel intakes, perhaps two tampo or decal versions of this car exist? if you own this car maybe worth comparing with 'masked' intakes photos below? gazza
Just released ....... http://www.scalextric.com/shop/new-for-2013/new-cars-for-2013/c3316-chevrolet-camaro-1970?utm_campaign=Scalextric_Newsletter_-180290_Issue_49&utm_medium=Email&utm_source=CM_hornby-scalextric Frank Gardner, the laconic Australian racing driver, one of the most popular and charismatic personalities on the British motor racing scene in the 1960s and 1970s, was a respected, tough and uncompromising competitor who raced in a wide variety of cars. It was in touring cars that he achieved his best performances. He won the British Touring Car Championship in 1967 at the wheel of a Ford Falcon V8, driving for the Byfleet‐based Alan Mann racing organisation. He then repeated the achievement the following year at the wheel of one of the newly unveiled Ford Escorts. In 1973 he would win the title for a third time in a fearsomely powerful 7‐litre Chevrolet Camaro. miveson
2014 range is released on the 17th December.... Scalextric will be supporting the various country collector clubs again with a limited edition model for around 6 of the clubs again (SLN / NSCC etc)... I wonder what the model will be........ For reference the Limited Edition Caterham NSCC model which was released in number of 72 and has been consistently fetching 400 quid.... mattcrackers
The monster trucks will be added to the collection as will the XB and the yank Torana, thats a given, don't waste my time looking at high resistant cars anymore, overpriced for no detail IMHO as usual.
