shadow_rusty
This is such a cool idea... I so have to get me the kids some... According to Gixmodo, they are compatible with lego too... http://gizmodo.com/scalextric-quick-build-demolition-derby-set/ Quote Stolen from SlotsNZ Team ABC Team Leader (Ambitious, But Crap) Home Track Threads - Shadow's Semi-Permanent Layout & Another Rug Racer & Proud of It & Gymkhana Test Track Car Collection Thread - My Car Collection Charts / Diagrams - MJK Tyre Selector / Slot.it 4wd Gearing / PoliCar Rollout / Rollout Chart Generator / SCX 4wd Rollout / Track Wiring with Brake on Track Call
miveson
If that isn't a hit I don't know what will be - Scalex have already won an innovation award for that one at the show. It just needs the words Lego on the box... That Lotus 49b looks gorgeous - a definite must have for the collection..... gazza
It just needs the words Lego on the box... Too slow, SCX bought out sets last year that used lego Quote Quickly read this post before it is deleted or i turn grey again Gary http://www.facebook.com/Rallyproxy2017
shadow_rusty
You got a linky Gazza? Kinda interested... EDIT: Apparently it was SCX Compact (1/43) Found a link... http://www.slotcaril...87&postcount=27 There is a great looking home made car here... http://www.slotcaril...90&postcount=12 Edited February 1, 2013 by shadow_rusty Quote Stolen from SlotsNZ Team ABC Team Leader (Ambitious, But Crap) Home Track Threads - Shadow's Semi-Permanent Layout & Another Rug Racer & Proud of It & Gymkhana Test Track Car Collection Thread - My Car Collection Charts / Diagrams - MJK Tyre Selector / Slot.it 4wd Gearing / PoliCar Rollout / Rollout Chart Generator / SCX 4wd Rollout / Track Wiring with Brake on Track Call
mattcrackers
Have to put this one on the shopping list, with the amount of Cars Lego/Police Lego etc that my kids play with all the time they will love to be able to build their own cars and give them a run on the track, nothing like a slot car that can take a good spill and cause no damage. gazza
SCX one from a couple of years back ...... Original post here ....... Burglar
I seriously doubt that Scaley's Mk 2 Escort will run as hard as the one by SCX. Also it seems that they are taking most of their new ideas for the bigger cars from RMS Resins and Carrera. I hope that the Daytona is not a travesty like their Charger 500 with the tunnelback window and recessed grille.
miveson
A rather expensive grid line up there....... Anyone else collecting these this year? Hats off to Scalextric who seem to actually be delivering items this year....... probably due to the reduction in the number of models that they are producing. gazza
With all the different colours they would make a good host class Quote Quickly read this post before it is deleted or i turn grey again Gary http://www.facebook.com/Rallyproxy2017
Ember
They're not the prettiest Caterhams that they've done livery wise. In fact, rather lacking in imagination really. Should we say cheap? Only production wise, I know they'll finish up a pretty penny. Caterhams seem to get snapped up quickly for some reason. Quote Computers. They'll never catch on. Yngwie
Are these any good sans mag? Have no experience with them whatsoever but like Gazza said, good host class.
Ember
Well... I have one that I have worked on that runs OK. Got to be really careful with it through corners, but it's ok. And one that HL has worked on which is an absolute shocker to drive, They are front motored. Maybe middle is more correct. And there is not a lot of room in there Quote Computers. kalbfellp
We raced them as a class with only some weight added, good racing BUT very few enjoyed racing them. Most are now sitting idle! mattcrackers
Yeah jimmi, you would hope so. All the newer models from now on should also be on the same chassis.
Cleveland
Great choice of livery with the V8 Supercars. Can anyone shead some light on the "Red Bull" sponsorship? Does carrera have exculsive rights to it like they have with Ferrari? Clevo Quote Resized to 83% (was 1006 x 146) - Click image to enlarge

Cleveland
I will be buying one of those sets for the collection for sure,....................BUT I'm a little suprised with the liveries that they have choosen . I was expecting a new livery on one of the cars that you could only get by buying a set, a bit like what they did with one of last years V8 Supercars sets ,with the 888 Lowndes commodore. Oh well ,maybe next time. I wonder why they didnt use Moffats 1975 car to go with that 1975 torrie? The red & gold XB is a thing of beauty, Clevo Quote Resized to 83% (was 1006 x 146) - Click image to enlarge
