  1. Hi all. I enjoyed watching and reading about our four Kiwi entrants in ISRA World Champs in Chicago recently. Great show by Chris R, Chris D, Paul B and Gill E. One can only imagine the lengths the 100+ entrants go to in contesting these events. Thought it would be a good idea to start up a thread to record how other Kiwi competitors fare. Current events I am aware of include 3 classes in the OZ Rally and 2 classes in the Vintage Race Across America (VRAA). Current competitors include myself (charlesx), Branco, Aquakiwi and Munter. Several others have competed in recent times with the most successful probably being a 1st to DRW21 in the 2015 International Proxy Series (IPS). Coming events being entered include the 2017 World Rally Proxy (WRP) and IPS. The Tasman Cup contested 1961-65 GP cars is also an annual favourite. If anybody would like to know more about any of these events please do not hesitate to ask. While many of my Aussie friends contest these events people enter from all around the globe. Proxy racing is as much about taking part as winning. Events run over anything from 6 - 12 rounds all on different tracks. A good build is one that is reliable and easy to drive. I originally got interested about 6 years ago and started following Kiwi competitors. It is great to see the other tracks around the world and the reports and photos are great. Go to the Proxy Thread under Forum if you have not already seen some of these reports. Further Kiwi competitors are always welcome. I will progressively add in race results and other KIWI proxy news in the following posts. Regards Chas Le Breton
