    Lone Pine Raceway

Well, for those that had forgotten Warwick Grove Raceway left the premises a few years ago: ( Link to track build) http://www.auslot.co...-grove-raceway/ and a new room was built for a new 4 laner: After a couple of years of excuses, wanting a spell from slotcars and procrastination I came up with a couple of plans, and this was the one that I liked and was the most favourable with the club members. The blue lines are the table layout and support positions etc. The materials , with a few spares Table frame Routing: routing strip is a 15mm wide piece cut off 10mm thick recycled plastic sheet from my local plastics retailer. I actually wanted a strip of lexan but they didn't have and sheets in at the time 3mm MDF planed down a little to fit into the slot for the remaining 3 lanes. I made my router base to size so that the adjacent slot removed the nail holes from the routing strip Getting the bridge piece sorted Flat pack slotcar track All the elevations done Now that all the messy work is done I will separate the MDF track from the table so I can get both track and table through the sliding door of the room then it will be put back together. Then a bit of scenery base, paint, braid , borders, color to the scenery and POWER. But that will all take some weeks. Drivers station will be along the main straight with driving direction heading left, although I would like to run it both ways.
