  1. This Topic is to kick off our Classes re-jig that we started discussing this week. I'll add a few separate topics to cover off the chat we had at last night's meet at my place. Let's discuss openly and be respectful of others opinions . The focus for this Topic is Cartrix The Options discussed were: Keep Cartrix early F1s as a class in it's current format. Alter the class to include any make of early F1 and have restrictions on tyres and motors for parity. Kill off this class due to cost / availability for our many new members, and / or the difficulty in getting race parity between Cartrix and other brands - e.g. Scalextric. Please add your thoughts below. Be good to get at a minimum a yay or nay from all members. Cheers Pat

    Cartrix Porsche 804

It appears Cartrix have moved away from the 50's and are now moving in to the 60's... the car below is a Porsche 804 Ltd Edition of 200 but more not Ltd Editions are to follow beginning in December.
  3. Evening, I'm looking for an astute Cartrix collector who may be able to help me sort the treasures from the trash. I've purchases a Mercedes W196 but have some cars that I can add to the package, I can add another 4 cars without incurring any additional postage. I obviously don't want to purchase anything that I'll be wasting my time with but it would be good to know what is worth buying and having postage (essentially free of charge). Send me a PM and I can send through some photos/prices of cars and perhaps you might be able to assist with working out what is good/bad based on the prices that I've been given. Cheers Mark
