    Eastside Raceway

'Sup Auslot! For various reasons I've been out of slot car racing for a while, and boy have I missed it.. Especially the joy of having one's own track- second only to sharing the fun with others! So, without further ado I'd like to share my new track-in-waiting, the Eastside Driftworks. After playing around with a few designs I settled on this: It's a common design, in my opinion most famously used in the Dutch Trio Track by Rally Hub. (If you haven't seen it before- click that link baby!) Further inspiration came from Matt's Mill Park Raceway II- I wanted a similar awesome banked corner. The theme is a modern style drift circuit, mostly concrete and steel.. the track will be ribbon only with no surrounding scenery, in order to keep the weight down. It will be lit for night racing, with deadstrips for timing- can't imagine photosensors will work well under sunlight! As it will be living in the back yard, it will be broken into 3 separate modules (with detachable legs) when not in use. Final dimensions are 5800x1800. Here's some more of my working sketches. Track plan with slots and frame base shown in pale green.. Corner design detail.. Lighting plan.. CAD track plan.. cheers, Bry
  2. Hello. After nearly a year, I finally published the new application, Slot Car Diary, wich will become the ideal complement for Slot Car Trainer. With this application you will be able to store all data of your cars, tracks, drivers, builds, spares and races in a centralized repository. HOW? Type your track (or tracks) details. Define your profile and the profiles of your family and/or friends Insert details of your stock cars. Review the predefined list of spares. Prepare your custom builds by adding spares to your stock cars. After a race, input all details (who, when, where, how...). NOTE: The final release will include integration with Slot Car Trainer for importing its results. DOUBTS, PROBLEMS, SUGGESTION? Write me! Don't hesitate to contact me. I'll help you as much as I can. WHAT YOU WILL GET? A centraliced point for storing all your information. Evaluate how good is a build against another. Know who is the fastest driver in your group. See what is the car with more customizations. Any other thing proposed by you You can download it for free from Google Play. Test it and comment any thing you think that can be improved. Ah!, If you clic a banner for helping, better than good Best Regards and Happy New Year.
  3. Hi all, I will be starting my 4th track in a bit and am at the moment brewing up ideas. The plans are making a routed track and using something like oxigen or scorpius to Digify it. It will at least be 2 laned Asphalt and will have a single lane looped rally section attached to it. Size will be 1:24 and 1:32 compatible. That means i will have to be able to exit the asphalt and enter the rally lane, and should have the choice of staying on the rally track doing rounds or choose to change lane and enter the asphalt 2 lane again. Lot's of ideas just not sure how to accomplish them all yet. But that's only a matter of time
