Hi, i race in 'rookie racing' competition at my local raceway , despite the name its quite competitive but lots of fun, and we are all good friends and encourage each other to do well. Most even share set up tips.
Rules are simple, scalextric cars (to suit particular class for that week), box stock besides tyres (mjk only other option) and wires allowed to be changed to be direct from brushes to motor, the rest comes down to set up and driver.
The last few weeks have been dominated by newly released cars with green end bell motors (in line porshes). Does anyone know if these new motors are any different/better than the older black or white end bells or is it simply better car setup (inline instead of sidewinder) and driver skill?
