  1. I'm also out this week, visitors staying and new cat sitting.
  2. Oh good you didn’t notice the LMP special parts.
  3. I had to do a good number of laps yesterday to get the hang of it, a pity my home track pace does not yet show on other tracks. And yes Smithy is overdue a return to slots.
  4. Cartrix is good, my Cartrix goes better than my pre-65 options. Group C and maybe GT3 which go well on my track (if it is powered as per the rules).
  5. Yep open after 6pm. We need to get back on the roster. I will think about classes tomorrow, but I welcome suggestions.
  6. What's up this week, I am home and track could be cleaned to run at Bahia Vista. We are still sorting travel plans, but we have 2 or 3 trips in the planning stage. Slots will be a bit hit and miss the next couple of months.
  7. Hi Dave we get home Thursday but probably won’t be organised enough to come racing. We will also be away in Melbourne 5 April. My Slot year is looking very patchy.
  8. I’m impressed with the freehand detailing, well done. All the best. Peter
  9. I'm out this week, and I'll be away the next two, see you all in a month.
  10. I'm out, distracted by RC car nationals, Wed to Sunday.

Hi Mark, We are home so feel free to drop in. I found some tyres the same size/shape as the others in my future scenery box. By the time I true them and give them a coat of superglue compound makes no difference. Cheers.
  12. Jk turns 60, congratulations, a good age to be. And the sun returns, coincidence - I don't think so.

With a resolution or two in hand, 1) get back to some lagging projects 2) DO NOT store anything on the tracks Following Mac's lead and with the only digital track in the area, I embarked on a project to build sets of cars, so we might some quiet Sunday try racing on my digital track. I have had 3 Scaly E30 BMW's built for a while and running ok - lead is your friend, time to build #4. I clearly made careful notes when I did the first 3, which tyres and wheels etc, and apart from being a set of rear wheels missing, (probably used on something else), it was looking easy peasy. Built the pod up, installed the chip, wired rear lights. Struggle to get front wheel off the axle - looked like someone build it with a dab of superglue. Mount tyres as speced in my list! there is no way they are what is fitted to the other three. 3 completed cars #4 The offending oversize tyre. bugger, now I have no idea what tyres are on the front of the first 3 cars.
  14. Thanks for a good night. I need to get my brain back into slotcar mode, and get shot of a few distractions.
  15. Yes please Mac, I‘ll be out for a few weeks, so a fix before the busy stuff starts would suit me very well.
  16. Thanks for the push to get one area of the shed tidy, if only I could keep it that way. Must have been a bit of a chat fest, at one stage I noticed no cars on track. Thanks.
  17. I'd better clear some flat areas to put slot car boxes as well then. A bit of tuning maybe a race or two, so many classes, maybe we should try to get the roster going again once the year gets underway properly. GT3 and ??
  18. Ok it is looking a bit quiet. I am continuing to attempt to bring order my shed in line with resolutions for the year. I will be home and I will dust off the track for anyone getting withdrawal symptoms, but don’t anticipate racing.
  19. If people want another run in the Bay I would need to start my tidy up by tomorrow morning. Let me know if there is interest.
  20. Thanks for last evening in the shed? Clearly my form last time was a one off and normal service has resumed. My RC car driving style is not suited to slot cars. Apologies to Pat who keep building a small lead only for me to lose it and then some. Luckily this doesn’t bother me one bit and I Will keep plugging away, it helps everyone else look good.
  21. Happy new year Mac, sounds like a good plan you have there. I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment so some quality shed time will be welcome.
  22. My usual superglue caused splitting on my Thunderslot rears, found some useful NSR ultras in my parts bin, so no biggy.
  23. What a sad bunch we are hanging with out mates on Auslot in the middle of the festive season!
  24. No names, you all know who you are. Have a Merry Xmas and wishing you all a Happy and Prosperous new year 2018. A little down time to make some progress on those special projects. 2018 is looking like a vintage year.
