    I have printed porta loos and found the same problem,so I put a small magnet under the axle,. It won't stop the fish tailing but help reduce it Some thing for my truck trailers scale 20 foot
  4. I sand the rims before fitting tyres to get a true rim then I true the tyres as well
  5. Is the relay powered by the analog side or digital side.
  6. I let Sam see how the reverse switch is wired and works so reversing will be an easy fix for his track

  9. You need I relay per lane,1 sensor per lane Jaycar part no zd1950 and a light bridge,. The light bridge runs off the power supply the relay plug into the out put setting and the sensors plug into the input settings on a phidget board, I have the phidget board diagram if you want it emailed

Which is more expensive 4 uno board at $40 plus 2 mega boards at $45 each or a phidget board and case for $100 I have also had a uno board wipe out the drivers for the usb port on my Lenovo g50 that cost me $700 as well as nearly taking out a CLUB computer. Dubbo slot car CLUB had problems with blast relays triggering timing until I replaced the uno board with phidget board everything else stayed the same and problem gone.

  15. I prefer phidget ,it uses usb connection with it's own inbuilt driver so no driver issues that Arduino have, Works with it,phototropic, and Lee type sensors can power up to 6 relays also has no blast relays problems likes some Arduino do
  16. Track is still there ,will need some small fixes to run again but not hard to do

  18. I have finally come to the conclusion that no one is interested in racing on a routed track in wellington, so now i'm left with a choice of either keeping the track and cars or selling the hole lot as a package and freeing up garage space for something else
  19. Next race is Saturday 23rd sept ,will be racing gt3 v8 supercars, smal cars mini ,vw,modern mini all based on wheel base length, Practice. At 4 racing at 5 Average lap for gt3 is between 8 to 8.5 second
  20. will head lights on some cars affect the sensors? the sensors can be trimmed with e dremil just dont cut the two wire strips in the acrylic casing and clear coat with nail polish when done but dont rush it
  21. to get your practice back go to race set up then UI and on the top line type in data\xaml\Practice_8L.xaml this should restore practice to factory settings

  23. thanks mate ,it just takes time and patience. most of the people ive met have been by chance or by delivery of building materials for the track
  24. pm sent with address, got 4 starters so far and the track is self marshal .there are no sheep stations involved just some fun .timing is race co ordinator with a phidget board very reliable system
