  4. We are back shipping from Monday, after a bit of a holiday over Christmas. I am pleased to announce that we are now distributors for Atalaya decals. Atalaya are based in Spain and produce over 1,500 decal sets, most of them livery accurate to a model, plus around 40 generic sets, and sets for NSR 86/89 cars and Policar Monoposto cars. We have begun with stocking most of the generic sets, and the sets for the monoposto cars - which are 2 sheets, or "wrap" style plus individual decals. We will bring in any specific customer order decals to order with re-stock orders. Check out their full range HERE

  10. Very late with updating here. Our April Newsletter is now available for viewing and for download as a PDF file; click the link below. www.slotraceshop.nz/April2020Newsletter.pdf Since that came out, we have watched the world situation for Covid-19 get worse, and most concerningly - in the countries we source most product from I haven't been in touch with Professor Motor, but everyone else reports that they and their companies are tracking well, and no staff are ill with the virus Staff are working from home in Spain and Italy. Chris of Sideways is able to access his shop and assembly place at the raceway, as well as working from home. Meanwhile, NZ and Australia are in much better than expected position for controlling community spread, deaths in NZ (and I am sure Oz), are below the levels expected under a best case scenario. We are paying a big financial price, but much less, and hopefully much shorter than around the world. In New Zealand Lock-down is extended a few more days, so shipping orders will begin next Tuesday 28th when we officially move to domestic level three. Couriers will resume collection of non-essential goods, and there will be an NZ Post agency open in one supermarket in out city. As I print postage and do international declarations online, I can also now resume shipping by Post to Australia and further afield. All customer orders received in the past few days are sitting picked, with the boxes and satchels open, for anyone who wants to add to their order. Flat rate per order until end of April of $1 to NZ addresses and NZ$10 to Australian ones. - You can choose "store pickup" for additional orders placed, so that the system does not make any additional freight charge. The best thing about yesterday's announcement was the indication that consideration will be given to whether to move down to level 2, as soon as two weeks after moving to level 3. Let's be hoping. As well as ourselves, we all have friends and family who are hurting in businesses, or loss of wages. I have been warned by Fastways/Aramex, that due to heavy online ordering of "essentials" during lock-down - their freight volume has been UP, yes UP significantly, not down during lock-down, and shows no signs of slowing. So all delivery methods may be a bit choked at the exit of lock-down, with commensurate delays.
