  1. I do like lighted cars although I have been more in to installing my own. Scalex lights aren't very authentic, with that yellowish-orange glow, so I have to agree with tsmsoccer that Xenon lights are the way to go.

    Hahaha...nice extra 'N'! (laughing)
  3. Maybe it's just me but I could care less about the buldge. It's a slot-car for crying out loud. We all know it needs a guide and we'll all know what the buldge is there for. Is it really that big of a deal?
  4. SCX Vintage Corvette you say? January 2004 SCX Vintage Vette Review!
  5. Hello all! I have a link that might be of interest to several of you. Last November I had the chance to review the first MRRC Toyota release. While my reviews, as well as racing, are magnet based instead of for routed tracks both Bump and I thought some of you would enjoy the read. Enjoy! November 2003 MRRC Toyota Celica Review!
  6. Hello all... As a member of the HRW site I guess the thing that confuses me is that they have SlotForum, a European based message board, in their links section but they seem rather reluctant to add this one. Hopefully it resolves itself.
  7. First time poster! For my pics a trick I have been using is to increase the image size, say from 640 to 1024. Reason? If you position the camera at the optimum distance for focus but are taking a 640 pic then the image ends up being almost too small to focus on a detail. At 1024 you can then crop out what you do not want to show and still be left with a decent sized image. An example might be: to this: Both image sizes end up the same however the closeness acheived in the second picture is by far greater as is the detail. Give it a try and see if that works for you!
