Well it is unofficially here and looks as though all of us impatient Aussies have been buying them up from overseas as we can't wait for them to arrive in our stores. From all accounts it will be here within the next week and a half so for those patient ones the wait is almost over.

A slot car version of the most famous rally of all.
From Mini to Mustang, from Fiat 500 to Ferrari 308, from Saab to Subaru, from snow to sun, from 1911 to 2011…the Monte Carlo Rallye has it all. And we’re going to create it…in miniature. This is indeed the BIG one!
These days there are two versions of the ‘Monte’ – as a round of the World Rally Championship (WRC) and as the Historique for classic rally cars. We shall be running both! The WRC version will be for modern-day cars trying to beat the clock. The Historique version will be for classic rally cars trying to match a target time.
The Mini Monte Carlo (MMC) will take place in October 2013 (exact date to be decided) and incorporate the Italian round of the SCX World Rally Championship for which there will be a separate class running under separate rules. Stages will take place on a variety of rally tracks in and around Umbria with the final stages on the Castellano rally track at Castello delle Forme.
